What customers say
This well-kept wild camping spot offers spacious sites, lovely views, and a peaceful vibe. Guests rave about the friendly owners, clean facilities (compost toilets, showers), and fire pits. While basic, amenities are functional. Steep access and no drinking water are noted, but it's a highly recommended nature escape.

Brilliant Campsite with everything you need!
Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite (pet friendly)
Liked Loved staying at Wenallt Wild Camping! Everything was clean, accessible and pitches were well spaced-out with great views. We loved having a fire every evening. Important to know that the running water is not drinkable - but there are always water bottles available, which made it really easy!
Disliked The only bit of feedback from us would be to have some more lights in the toilet block and the showers! Having a shower in the evening proved hilariously tricky as I left my torch back in the tent! :D

Liked The owner was really helpful and kind. We had good views from where we parked .
Disliked The area for camper vans was very cramped - I would not come back in a van but would definitely camp as the field was beautiful

Lovely rural campsite.
Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite (pet friendly)
Liked The views, cleanliness of the site. The road to it is very steep and narrow and the facilities are basic but given the name of the campsite this should be pretty obvious. It had some nice touches such as covered seating area and everything looked really well maintained. If you want easy access to a takeaway and a flushing loo, this isn't the place for you but if you want a lovely quiet spot then this is great.
