Friendly owners, toilets/kitchen kept clean, access to fire logs.
Primitive grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Small pitch, but kept clean at all times. Small kitchens with access to the fridge, kettle and toaster.
Very friendly owners, felt welcomed and well looked after. We stayed at dog friendly pitch and kids loved chickens, ducks, horses and cows on the fields around us.
Bit further to the beach as expected however the walk was fantastic though woods and fields - with young kids would be around 30mins
And the fact we could buy free range eggs was a bonus
Will definitely be back!

Liked Ease of access. Great location. Farm animals. Simple but clean facilities.
Disliked Smaller field was a bit crowded and felt close to the road. Would have preferred a more 'wilderness' feel but only down to lack of research on my part.

Primitive grass and earth tent campsite (no pets)
Liked Great site, nice and flat so easy to pitch. Site drains well, which was great on such a wet and windy weekend.
Facilities are simple but good and kept clean. A great pub across the road and the milk hut - which our children loved and was super helpful for fresh milk.

Primitive grass and earth tent campsite (no pets)
Liked We were camping in the dog free paddock and had a great welcome from the hosts. The campsite is on a farm and has a great feel, with clean toilets and shower, flat pitches and a pub across the road.
We felt very welcome and relaxed through our stay
There is a nice 15 min walk to Dunraven bay which is a great beach for swimming, sandcastles and fossil hunting

Loved the donkey ❤️❤️❤️ watching the ducks and chickens.
The kettle in the horsebox was really helpful touch.
Loved the flushing toilet near our tent so not having to hike miles in the night to go to the loo!!
Loved the milkshack over the road where the kids got some yummy milkshakes.

Petite campsite with large pitches, no extra charges for a pup tent…
Primitive grass and earth tent campsite (no pets)
Liked Petite campsite with large pitches, no extra charges for a pup tent or gazebo. Parking is visible from all pitches. Access to a kitchen with fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster and extra plugs for charging devices. 1 shower cubicle with electric shower, 2 toilets with ample loo rolls, paper towels & hot water, very clean & well maintained. A few minutes drive from some beautiful beaches, situated opposite a pub restaurant, small but ample post office & corner shop in the local village.
We enjoyed the quiet easygoing pace of this campsite, it was compact and contained, the 12pm checkout made packing up much less stressful.
There is no wifi & barely any phone signal, a dream in todays hectic world.
Disliked No dislikes. Although a hook outside the shower door for a dry robe would be really helpful 🙂
