This small, intimate campground offers a "wild feeling" with friendly farm animals & a peaceful atmosphere. Facilities are generally clean, with well-stocked restrooms. Guests love the proximity to a large pub, village amenities, & a short drive to shops. Beaches & castles are easily accessible. Some found facilities basic & limited (showers/toilets for site size), and occasionally overpriced. Manager acknowledges feedback, focusing on cleanliness & farm environment.

Lovely but a bit expensive for the facilities provided
Primitive grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Small, intimate campsite. Pretty wild feeling. Courteous campers.
The toilets were clean with plenty of soap and toilet roll.
Great to be right across the road from a lovely big pub that had friendly locals and a solid Turkish menu. There’s also a more upmarket pub and a Spar in the village. And it’s a 10-min drive to the big Tesco Extra if you need proper supplies.
At nighttime the area is peaceful and on a clear night you’ll be able to see the stars. There were some lovely big bats flying around at dusk.
There are friendly donkeys, goats, chickens, and ducks on the farm.
Easy access by car to local beaches and castles.
Disliked Not worth the £40. I’ve stayed places with far better facilities for less.
There is just one shower and two toilets on a small field that can facilitate probably around 11 pitches. The lights in the toilet block only work at night, so during the day you’re peeing in the dark. The shower shed has a clear plastic roof but no light, so you need a torch to shower at night.
BBQs are not allowed and the cooking facilities are basic — a toaster, fridge, and kettle. I feel if you’re going to prohibit people from BBQing food, it’s sensible to offer something like an electric stove or microwave.
The road next to the site carries heavy load traffic (tractors, buses, gas trucks) in the mornings, even on a Sunday, so the night time’s peace is over by 7am.
It’s not a bad site at all — we really enjoyed — it’s just overpriced IMO.

Great location, lovely relaxed site!
Primitive grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Great location, 15 minutes walk to a local beach accross fields, 2 local pubs and a local shop. The site was easy to find and was just a really pleasant camp site, hourse, donkeys, chickens and cows as well as a nice lake. A great little base for a very relaxed camping experience. Loved the little horse box with a fridge, toaster and kettle great addition for a site with no electric. Everything was clean and we had a really very relaxed stay!
Disliked Only minor complaint is there is only 1 shower, but it’s a working farm so the fact there was a shower at all was frankly great :-)

In my opinion this is a basic campsite for short visits
Primitive grass and earth tent campsite (no pets)
Liked The small orchard field was very pleasant to put our tent up in under a tree due to the warm weather. The owners greeted us on arrival and were very pleasant and we enjoyed the animals. The fresh chicken eggs were very tasty.
Disliked For the number of tents in the three fields, three flushable toilets and four portaloos was severely insufficient. One flushable toilet that was closest to the largest field had no hot water capability and no working interior light. The advertised freezer pack facility was a very small under the counter freezer in the family field and the rest of the site's closest facility was a small open compartment in an under the counter fridge which didn't freeze our packs. The supply of toilet rolls was insufficient, so take your own. There were two washing up sinks but only cold water supplied and no plug, the use of the kettle and your own washing up bowl is recommended. This is a working farm with animals but the donkey isn't advertised and liked to be heard early in the morning.

Beautiful farm camp next to pond and pub.
Primitive grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Location and facilities were great. There was a pub opposite, a flushable toilet and a box to make tea and wash up in dry.
The owners of the farm were lovely and very helpful.
The site also had a shed with vending machines with milk, milkshakes and ice cream. A really treat.
Disliked No shower.
