Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Friendly welcome, comfortable pitch, clean facilities.
Picnic table and kettle in the washing up room were a great addition
Very close to cycle route 4 which was great for cycle tourists though some signs from the path would have been helpful.
Disliked Grass cuttings which hadn’t been collected
Could do with some more hooks in the showers to hang clothes and towel.

Liked Lovely quiet site with great amenities. Clean and well maintained. Lovely and flat pitches. Great washing up facilities with any extras you may have forgotten. Books available for swapping and washing machine available. Back to basics…no clubhouse or amusement or parks. Our children could be children!
Disliked Water in the showers was very very hot. Family shower was great but when having my own shower in individual cubicle it was almost burning my skin!

From the manager: Thanks for your comments if you had brought the temp in the showers to our attention we would have adjusted them.
There is a sign in the shower room asking to let us know if there is something wrong.

Liked The camping is a big field with large pitches. The camping owner was very gentle . There is a little kitchen what can be used . And books you can borrow. I liked the surrounded nature, the sheeps in the other fields and the relaxed atmosphere.

Disliked …whilst the size of each pitch was large enough, there were absolutely no breaks, either at the rear or side to side. With many of the tent campers filling their pith to the boundary, the overall feeling was cramped.
