Primitive grass RV campsite

Liked: It was easy to see how this site would be on a sunny weekend. The communal area was pretty and the fish and chip van was lovely. The entertainment on Saturday night was very good. Staff were very happy and helpful at all times.

Disliked: Unfortunately, the weather was very windy so we didn't get to experience the full atmosphere but this can't be helped.

Primitive grass RV campsite

Liked: It was close to two stunnng beaches, perfect for paddle boards etc, amazing sunset. friendly host.

Disliked: Sorry to give this review but feel honesty is best, the singer in the evening sang mostly really miserable songs, even one of his own songs that he told the audience he wrote when he was caring for his terminally ill Dad, I have complete empathy for him but this was not appropriate for the audience who were on their holidays, too many sad / funeral songs for me. Extremely expensive at £25 a night. Not even Elsan here

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked: The location was amazing, couldn’t be better. Good facilities although the cold shower was very cold! Really loved the live music, bar & food trucks

Disliked: The cold communal showers were bearable but would be my only dislike. We unfortunately picked a really, really windy weekend but can’t do anything about the weather!

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked: The staff were wonderful and helpful, the location was amazing, the view was priceless! Would totally recommend. The loos were surprisingly good, way better than portable ones. Great for adults and dogs, quiet at night, fun and colourful during the day. Lots of things to do around! Just get ready for windy weather in case you’re planning to cook/boil something during your stay.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked: Amazing weekend spent at camp bongo, brilliant entertainment and owners/team done excellent job. Everything you need, camp bongo has.. showers, toilets and washing up facilities including live music, food trucks and bar! Would defiantly recommend.

Disliked: Only negative I would have is that the showers are cold water only so not very ideal when been in the sea all day, However that being said as an avid camper, the option to have a shower cold or hot is still very good.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked: The location - being right on the beach was convenient and the views all round were great! Great being able to set up wherever in the field The toilets were frequently cleaned and the showers were surprisingly nice despite being cold water and communal Nice to be an adult only space

Disliked: A water point next to the other set of toilets would have been nice Updates to food offerings only mentioned on social media, not at the camp

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked: Lovely site , close to beach , lovely view in the right spot , entertainment and food , we had to give it up on the Sunday of a Bank Holiday , due to horrendous weather which was in no way their fault . I would have given it five but I do think it's a bit expensive for cold showers and compost toilets . Depends what you value i suppose.

Disliked: Nothing really except the price , we had a motorhome so wasn't really an issue but 127 for three nights no electric , cold showers and a compost toilet seems a bit expensive when you're buying beer and food and could pay for other classes such as the cocktail class for £25 pound

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked: The vibe overall, what a fantastic idea! Live music, lovely cocktails and a food van available on the Saturday night! Toilets were clean, plenty of bins around, cold showers available too. We only live 15 minutes from the site but decided to give it a go and really did have a wonderful time. Hope to be back before it closes for the summer!
