Liked The views were amazing. The facilities that are on site were great. Haven’t been camping in 10 years so was just doing a trial run and also seeing how our puppy would cope. We loved it and I would definitely come back again.
Disliked Very windy but not the owners fault and definitely wouldn’t put me off from coming again.

Stunning location, amazing people running the site.
Primitive grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The location is amazing. Stunning views. Lovely people running the site, nothing was touch for them including jump starting my car when my battery was flat. Spotless facilities. A burst pipe in the local village caused water supply problems and the family running the site kept us supplied with drinking water (from the farm house which is some distance away and was not affected by the water cut off) and kept the toilets working. They were amazing, despite which some people were rude/angry with them about something they had no control over. They were so stressed and so busy keeping water supplies going till goodness knows what time of night. The site is very spacious and you camp where you want, no regimented pitches. It is quiet and peaceful, other campers were friendly and I met 4 other women camping on their own, which is very unusual. I was there Wednesday to Monday. Itwas much busier over the weekend due to the heatwave, but But never felt crowded. Thank you. I'll be back! The site is windy as the owners warn. Some campers helped each other pitch or take down tents on the windier days.
Disliked There were queues for the 3 loos over the weekend and 1 shower over the weekend. No WiFi might bother some people, but I loved being disconnected.
