What customers say

This glamping spot offers a peaceful, welcoming stay in clean, well-equipped pods, cabins, and tents. Guests loved the warm welcome, thoughtful welcome packs, and farm animal encounters. Ideal for exploring North Wales and beaches. Most found facilities excellent; one noted limited cooking beyond the BBQ. Many want to return.

Garthen cabin

Liked Lovely pod on a working farm. Kids absolutely loved feeding and playing with goats.

5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to the pub.

Pod was very clean and had everything we needed for a short break.

Garthen cabin

Liked After a warm welcome from Gwenno, we found our spotless cabin. Small, lovely and thoughtfully put together. Lots of little extras like firewood, tea towel, washing up liquid, milk. Wine and crisps was a good welcome gift. We had our grandson so used the sofa bed which was great.
The farm animals was a huge plus for us. We loved seeing them (and the farm cat) everyday. The view from the cabin is beautiful.
There's a farm shop and a local garage and Spar close by if you need anything. The beach is lovely and so clean, considering there isn't a bin.
We ate at The Ship in which is good but gets busy so book in advance. The beer garden has a food van which was good also.

Disliked The beach bar was expensive, and the service was poor.
We really didn't like leaving Crugan Farm. It was so good

Penro cabin

Liked Absolutely amazing place to stay hosts and people that stay there regularly very welcoming. lovely positive friendly atmosphere.
cabin was based in the most soul resting place I feel so rested coming from there. animals coming up to us was amazing! 10 and 12yr old children adored it.
cabin was clean and loads of things added on top like milk coffee crisps. Shortest walk to the toilet /shower block was lively not too close but not too far a decent dry walk there and back.

Disliked not staying extra days

BwlchCoch bell tent

Liked We booked the tipi last minute and I'm so glad we did check in was smooth the tipi itself was amazing we had a bottle of bubbly waiting for us along with some local crisp and popcorn. Double bed 2 singles (proper matress) a sofa fridge TV proper glamping! We camp in a tent normally so this was luxury for us we had a 16month old and 3year old and they could run around and the donkey pig sheep horses would greet us every morning lovely space outside with picnic table! Would definitely return and recommend for young families. A short stroll across to the beach ir you can drive down and park up if you have lots of stuff. Nice fire pit/bbq gorgeous views toilet block with hot showers. There is a little park play area with swing slide and animals as it a working farm. So great for the kids. Fabulous stay thankyou.

Disliked Not so much a dislike but they should mention the only cooking facility is the bbq outside we took our own camping cooker and used that and if we didn't have that our only option was the bbq one night it was a bit wet. Also mentions that wood would be supplied for first fire but we didn't have this but you could easily buy at the petrol station across the road.

Local attractions

Whether you’re keen on walking or just unwinding on the sand, you’ll be in the right location here. Trace your way around the Llŷn Peninsula on the coastal path, venture up to Tin Man (20 minutes’ walk) above Llanbedrog to see for yourself why this peninsula has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty… from this vantage point, you’ll see the spectacular Snowdonia mountain ranges in the distance (they’re less than an hour’s drive from the site too). Then, there are all the coves and headlands to tick off your wishlist, including the sheltered Abersoch (five minutes’ drive), peaceful Nefyn (15 minutes), surf-ready Traeth Porth Ceiriad (15 minutes) and Aberdaron Beach (half an hour) or the National Trust’s Porthor, also known as Whistling Sands (half an hour) due to the unique sound made when you step on the sand. Porthdinllaen (15 minutes), another National Trust stretch of coastline, is also within striking distance and a prime place for kayaking, swimming or snorkelling, followed by your drink of choice in the popular inn.
