  • Spacious site a short drive from Eryri/Snowdonia National Park
  • Within easy reach of beaches, watersports and a mountain railway
  • Barbecues welcome and several supermarkets within easy reach
Seeking a sojourn within easy reach of the smashingly spectacular Eryri/Snowdonia National Park? Close to several splendid beaches and within easy reach by car or bike from several towns for foodie spots and cosy pubs? Treborth Hall Farm Caravan Site should, then, tick off a fair few of your Welsh holiday boxes. This peaceful walled park is a 20-minute walk from the Anglesey Isle town of Menai Bridge, home to several traditional pubs and other eateries for off-site sips and scoffs. You can be in Bangor on your bike in 15 minutes too, or hop in the car and be there in less than 10; highly beau Beaumaris is bikeable too – reach it in a little over half an hour on two wheels, or be there in half the time on four. When it comes to stuff for kids to do, they’ve got reams of room to roam freely around, plus a play area too should they require fun structures to clamber on; for a spot of gentle grownup activity, there's a public footpath just outside that forms a loop connecting to the Wales Coast Path, which in turn provides access to Treborth Botanic Garden. For food on site you’re more than welcome to get a barbecue going – several supermarkets are within easy reach around the nearby towns for all your sizzling supplies, and there are also lots of pubs, restaurants and takeaways too. Among the on-site amenities are toilets and two shower blocks with coin-operated showers with plenty of piping-hot water.

What customers say

A clean, friendly campsite with spacious sites and helpful staff. Great for exploring Anglesey & Snowdonia, close to Bangor. Facilities are good, though some found them basic. Alpacas and a playground are kid-pleasers. Guests noted occasional noise and limited showers at busy times.

Primitive grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Nice tidy campsite, lovely looking when we arrived with the Alpacas in the field

Disliked One of the ladies toilets either had a leak or the rain accumulated in that cubicle ,the floor was wet through.
Pitch size was incredibly small for a campervan grass non electric. if you had a family sized tent you actually would not fit on the pitch, smallest by far we have ever encountered. Having said allthat it was still very nice, just double the pitch size

Powered cement/asphalt campsite

Liked Main gate was coded access so secure esp for a large site.

Disliked Toilet and shower facilities were gross. Filthy, rusty, never cleaned in time we were there. Washing up area was outside, next to chemical toilet disposal, or was that the grey waste that was tipped into the sink? Filthy too. Really disappointed as although on a grass pitch, the other facilities further away in the more expensive areas were at least cleaned.
Ehu's mostly taken by long stay empty caravans all plugged in but nobody there, so in the grass pitch area we were all limited access. Big humps in the ground grassed over also meant limited to where anyone could pitch up.
Would not return especially for £30 a night

Primitive grass tent campsite (solo)

Liked Useful location for Bangor.

Disliked Busy site, Not clear which fields you could walk through to get to toilet block, often felt like I was going somewhere I wasn't allowed just because I couldn't find the way.
Near busy road.
Signs saying they sold beer and snacks but there didn't seem to be anyone around to do this from.
Lot's of caravans and cars.
Needed a code to enter which could ave easily been text or emailed on the day of booking but instead required making a phone call and due to the busy road it was difficult to hear them.

Powered grass campsite

Liked This is a review based on my experience using the campsite and the facilities next to it.
The camping field is very very big, which is good, and your pitch size is unlimited so you can have a very big tent.
The location of this site is perfect for access to Bangor and Anglesey.

But That’s where the good points end.

Disliked The toilet facilities.
The first day, mthere were porta-loo’s close by , in which we were treated with the sight of other people’s turds in plain view , lovely .

The toilet / shower block was below standard. I have done free wild camping in my youth and you don’t expect facilities. But when you pay, you expect a certain standard. This site fell below any reasonable standard.

The shower cubicle was very manky ( dirty) with long term issues with sealant, there was a random hole in the floor for you to stand on.

The one and only flushing toilet cubicle was horrible, there seat was loose, there is a major hygiene issue with the toilet roll which is not good for even basic infection control. There is not a toilet roll holder / dispenser, you the big user have to hole the big roll in your hands with fingers in card tube, just like the previous patrons on said loo, thus possibly sharing each others faeces and urine , lovely. ( You would also understand how bad this is if you did the same courses that I went on when I worked in a care home for 26 years)

There was a sink with liquid soap and hot water so it wasn’t all bad, but that is the only positive. The paper towel dispenser for drying your hands was however empty for the days that I was there.

The row of Urinals were absolutely disgusting, one of them wasn’t even connected, so urine goes straight on the floor.

There was no obvious sign of any cleaning done during my stay.

Next to this toilet block is your washing up facility , and that is being generous. Substandard facility is more accurate.
It rained a lot while I stayed at the site, and I had to wait until it stopped raining to be able to wash my dishes . Why would I have to wait ? because someone couldn’t be bothered building a shelter over the sinks, or building a nice room like other sites do.
Washing my dishes to a good standard was difficult as the contempt for you the camper gets worse, there are only cold water taps.
So a good hygienic wash of your plates and cutlery is not possible .
I have not been to a site that did not provide hot running water.
One sink even drains badly onto the path, so you could get wet feet as you stand there.
