What customers say
Great family-friendly site w/ excellent facilities in a beautiful rural setting. Staff are super helpful. Guests loved the community feel, animal encounters & play areas. Downsides: remote location needs a car, and some pitches had ground wasp nests.

Powered grass campsite
Liked This was our first camping trip and we loved it. The site was well kept. Staff were seen often cleaning the toilet/shower blocks and the dish washing area. Staff in the shop were very helpful.
Shop was well stocked. Kids loved feeding the animals.
The site felt safe to walk around of a nighttime.
We will definitely look to book again next year.

Powered grass campsite
Liked Lovely location, nice facilities.. great parks for the kids and nice walks! Some farm animals around which my boys enjoyed also!
Disliked Info about site said it was low noise after 10pm, no music etc.. which I am all for everyone having a great time as we did around our campfire of an evening but we had some not so considerate neighbours who partied until 2:30am.. loud music, bottles clinking and shouting. A little frustrating when you have young children. Kept us and the kids up both Friday and Saturday, and also my sister who camped next to us. Felt wrong to complain but with it being both nights we felt a little frustrated.

FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked I can’t speak highly enough of the staff. The site itself was clean and friendly. Safe for the children to play out, with two different play areas. There was plenty of space for everyone. The fact that you can buy animal food was a lovely touch. The onsite shop had the normal staples along with lots of lively local products. Whilst we were there there was also an event on the Saturday, and a very popular fish and chip van and not forgetting the ice cream van which was another firm favourite. For location we enjoyed looking at local castles, there are so many out door options, Chester is a short drive away.
