What customers say
This adults-only campsite earns rave reviews for its tranquil vibe, gorgeous scenery, and Sian & Steve's warm hospitality (hello, free homemade cake!). Clean facilities, including a summerhouse and shared fridge/freezer, are a hit. Busy times can mean shower waits, and a few guests flagged fishing pond upkeep.

Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked First I’d like to say thank you to Sian & Steve the owners. A phone call to them for your pitch then half an hour later they were both at our and other new arrivals pitches with the nicest cakes I’ve ever tasted. THANK YOU BOTH.
The camp is small and very basic however what facilities they do have are very clean and well maintained. There is a lovely summer house well equipped with stove fire fridge pans etc for the use of anyone staying.
The pitches are all grass and very big. The woods are nice to walk in. Our dog Jasper loved it. There’s bus stops at the end of the lane in both directions (they can be a little hit & miss). The views are beautiful. Just an all round lovely weekend.
Disliked The only dislike my Hubby was a little disappointed with the lake. He decided not to fish. He said it needs some tlc.

Great site, friendly owners
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Great site and location. Easily accessible from the main road and within an hour of the national park. The owners were very friendly and even greeted me with a homemade cake on check in. The pitches are great, nice flat ground that was easy to peg into, not a single rock was hit. The facilities were also great too.

Lovely peaceful and relaxing adults only site.
Camping pod (double)
Liked The site was so peaceful and quiet. The views were lovely and we spent a lovely evening sitting outside our pod watching the sun go down. The owners were lovely and come around checking everyone was ok. If you’re looking for a peaceful getting away I would highly recommend and we will definitely be back. The pod had a bed a small table and a small chest of draws. We took our own chairs to sit outside but there is a bench to each pod. I would recommend taking a light as well for inside the pod.
