Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked If your pastimes include fishing, walking or mountain biking then Llandegla is ideally situated, a number of well stocked fishing lakes on site with easy vehicular access to a number of the pegs to save having to carry gear too far.
Mid site toilet block is clean and tidy services such as fresh water clearly labelled.
On site cafe serving breakfast and meals until early afternoon then drinks and cake later.
Small tackle shop at the back of the cafe selling essentials and they also hire fishing equipment if needed.
Disliked Not much to dislike, I have seen previous reviews which complain about the duck and goose muck which is mainly around the lake edges, this location is advertised as a fishery, where you get open expanses of water you are going to get wild foul, the grounds are maintained to a high standard and the muck is cleared whenever the grass is cut it is a never ending task which staff appear to do their best to keep on top of.
Great camp and fishing spot
