What customers say
Welcoming site with spacious, well-kept spots. Guests rave about friendly owners, clean facilities, and relaxed vibe. Highlights: animal feeding, campfires, on-site bar. Great for families; kids have safe play areas. Free-roaming chickens a hit! Minor points on toilet location and rustic facilities, but overwhelmingly positive with many eager to return.

Magical campsite, 100% recommended
Primitive grass tent campsite (no pets)
Liked Loved the safe, fun, family atmosphere, the owners were brilliant ( very accommodating and helpful) and especially with the kids, including them in egg collecting, chicken and pig feeding, paddling pool fun and melting marshmallows…the campsite and facilities were great, had everything we needed including a bar! The site was absolutely beautiful and magical. We loved it and we would definitely return.

Liked Amazing site. Perfect sized pitches with lots of space.
The owners were absolutely lovely and so kind and thoughtful with the children. Animal feeding and the bonfire was brilliant. Free roaming cheeky chickens. Bar on site was excellent too. Toilet and shower facilities really clean and spacious, even bank holiday weekend when it was fully booked it was great not overcrowded.
We really enjoyed our weekend. Highly recommend this site. Perfect location to get to Llangollen.
Disliked Nothing at all!! Everything was perfect.

Liked Beautiful spot with a well stocked bar and great hosts. Children were entertained by Lee letting them help plant trees and feed the pigs and chickens. Clean toilets and facilities. Highly recommend.

From the manager: Thanks for the great review and the picture of the pig dog (mackerel lol). And thank for your help with the tree planting and recovering the excess fleece that mackerel decided to spread around the whole field.
Very clean toilets and showers. Able to hire a fire pit and grab wood
Primitive grass campervan or tent campsite (pet friendly)
Liked Absolutely love this site, the owners really could not do enough for you. We wanted a little break away from everything and this is exactly what we got, peace and quiet in the perfect back to basics site. If you want somewhere with very chilled and relaxed atmosphere this place is a must. We love the dog friendly area, with individual little alcoves to pitch up, a very short walk to toilets and showers. A small pub/out building onsite that is very reasonable in prices, also a small shop to grab basics from. No loud music just peace and quiet

Primitive grass tent campsite (no pets)
Liked This camp site is one of our favourites. Lee and Michaela are everything you want in campsite owners. They also have the best dogs around. Riley has become best friends with biscuit and mackerel. We will be coming back for many years

From the manager: Always great to welcome you back. We think Riley and Mackerel could star in their own comedy show. I think she's missing him already.

Great stuff. Helpful hosts. Great location. Awesome stuff.
Primitive grass campervan or tent campsite (pet friendly)
Liked Great welcome nice energy and vibe about the site. Cool bar. Toilets and showers clean. Nice pitch. You don’t have to pay for a fire pit. The £5 fee on pitch up is for fuel. So I got an unexpected bag of hardwood. Happy days.
Disliked All good.
