Very close to being an excellent site.
Primitive grass campervan or trailer tent campsite (no pets)
Liked Friendly welcome. Well spaced pitches. Bar and basic shop on site. Great value.
Disliked Just felt in need of a little bit of TLC. Eg, lighting in toilets a bit dim. No hand dryers. Nothing to really put me off but some minor improvements would make this an excellent site

Primitive grass tent campsite (no pets)
Liked I liked the friendly host, the nice little bar on site, the undercover shelter, the spotless and very clean toilet facilities, and the whole experience overall, especially as I haven’t been camping for years and decided to give it a try with my two boys while my partner was meant to come but had to work.

Primitive grass tent campsite (no pets)
Liked Great facilities, quiet setting, lovely friendly hosts. Sadly we had to leave early as our tent leaked catastrophically in the night, not as waterproof as we thought! But this of course was not the campsites fault and we will be returning with a better tent! Thank you for our stay, loved the chickens and cat too!

Primitive grass tent campsite (no pets)
Liked A lovely, small family-run campsite with a welcoming atmosphere. The toilets and showers were clean and well maintained throughout our stay. We really liked the allocated pitches, which were separated by long grass, giving each pitch a bit more privacy. The children absolutely loved the animals on site, especially the chickens, which were a real highlight for them. We’d happily stay again.
