CampUs Ceiriog is a small-scale glamping site in a quiet corner of the Welsh countryside near Llangollen and the Dee Valley. Located on a family farm, the site has excellent access to a wide variety of tourist sights, from castles to waterfalls and the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct World Heritage Site. Sleep in a comfy double bed in one of the site's canvas bell tents, which come complete with cosy bedding, cushions, blankets and other soft furnishings to help you get a relaxing night's sleep. The other facilities here are shared but are maintained to a very high standard, with a smart cabin built from upcycled materials housing the site's toilets, showers and a well-appointed kitchenette with scenic views over the local landscape. CampUs Ceiriog is just over a mile from the quiet village of Glyn Ceiriog, where there is a pub, convenience store and pharmacy. There are plenty of local walks to try out in the local area if you fancy stretching your legs, with hand-drawn maps of the owners' favourites available from the communal area if you're after some inspiration.

Ehedydd - Skylark bell tent

Liked: Everything. Enjoyed every minute. Was so clean. So friendly. Very remote which meant quality family time with no devises. We spoke to each other. Played games. Everything we don’t get to do at home. Really needed. The hot air balloon passing by at 6.30am. Was just amazing.

Disliked: Not one complaint. Maybe a later checkout. But totally doable.
