Primitive grass campsite
Liked Loved location. Can walk or bike to town.
Friendly staff, especially lady cleaner.
Sheep walking around on the site
Disliked Showers, either too cold or to hot !! Water goes everywhere in loo block, as no bottom to shower doors.
Loo blocks moldy and very old. One shower not working at all
Chemical emply area, next to washing up area

Mega camping pod
Liked The location is absolutely beautiful, with stunning surroundings. Unfortunately, the experience was let down by the facilities. The pods were smaller than standard ones, which made them uncomfortable. The bathrooms were very dirty, flooded with water, and almost impossible to use, which was very unpleasant. Even the milk dispenser machine was not clean.
It’s such a shame, as this place has so much potential given its setting. Sadly, due to the bathroom conditions and overall discomfort, we had to cut our stay short and leave after just one night.
Disliked Small pods, very dirty bathrooms and milk dispenser, rusty microwave

Good family site with a river for the kids to play in.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked The setting.
Disliked The family from hell, using my caravan for target practice. Footballs, aeroplanes, tennis balls. You name it, we had it.

DO NOT BOOK THIS SITE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR PEACE AND QUIET.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Stunning surroundings a short drive from Llangollen. Nice hot showers.
Disliked The site allows music any time of day until 10.30pm so you can get rowdy people playing thumping disco music with no regard for other campers. Kids are shouting and screaming until gone 11pm. I complained to the warden but was told if I didn't like it I shouldn't go camping during school holidays.

From the manager: Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. This will be passed onto campsite management, music is to be kept at a reasonable level at all times with quiet time after 10.30pm. Our wardens work very hard and always address any issues on site
Many Thanks

Gorgeous campsite with great facilities
Primitive grass campsite
Liked The site is huge but seperated into smaller areas, staff were so lovely, toilet and shower facilities great, showers were hot and free. Pitches were all flat, and there's plenty of space even during the summer holidays. Beautiful scenery and the Abbey itself is gorgeous. Did t use the bistro but it looked great.
Disliked Some groups of teenagers out late meant a bit of noise after quiet time, and some folks came over to chat around 2am but quickly left when someone politely told them they were a bit loud. Nothing major at all. Pricier than other campsites I stayed at but with more facilities.
