We are located at the foot of the Berwyn mountains near the picturesque village of Llandrillo. With a public footpath on the edge of the campsite and the famous Wayfarer only a few hundred yards away, Tynant is perfectly situated whether you are a serious mountain walker or you just want a relaxing stroll and to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The views from the campsite of the Dee valley are spectacular. We have a small secluded caravan club CL site within easy reach of the village shop and pub, dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.

Route directions

After passing through the small town of Corwen on the A5, take the first left turn the B4401 signposted Cynwyd. Continue through Cynwyd and after approx two miles and following Hendwr caravan park on the right Tynant is about 300 metres on the left. Please ignore satnav in the last 1/2 mile - do not turn left when instructed but continue straight on and after a few hundred metres Tynant will be on your left. The X94 bus service between Wrexham and Barmouth passes the campsite every couple of hours and drivers will stop at the gate.
