  • Dog-friendly static caravan near Machynlleth with Dyfi Valley views
  • In the Snowdonia National Park, 15 minutes' drive from Aberdyfi beach
  • Well-equipped caravan with full kitchen, dining area and TV
Gwerniago Caravan is a single static caravan in a scenic Powys position on a quiet farm, with gorgeous views overlooking the Dyfi Valley. It’s worth stopping off in the local town of Machynlleth (five minutes’ drive away) on your way up here to pick up supplies so you can immediately settle at the picnic table in your outdoor seating area for drinks and snacks while you gaze out over those views. There’s a fully-equipped kitchen in the caravan (with gas oven, hob, fridge, microwave, toaster and all the essential kit) if you fancy knocking up a meal as well; if not, there are plenty of places to eat back down in town. Other spaces in the spacious caravan are three bedrooms (a double and two twins, one of which can be converted to a second double) and a comfy living room with sofas, TV, heater and dining area. There’s also a shower room with basin, and a separate toilet with basin. Any boots or bikes you bring along should see some good action here, as the site is just down at the south of the Snowdonia National Park with lots of forest, lake and waterfall trails nearby. A bucket and spade is a good plan too, as the popular beach at Aberdyfi is about half an hour’s drive away.
