Liked: A lovely location which is beautifully maintained.
Although we didn’t have any face to face contact with staff, we were impressed with the support we received and checks that everything was ok.
Lovely canal walks from the site to interesting places and a really good base for exploration of a beautiful area.
Disliked: A small niggle. The timing on the shower press button is maybe a little too short, but this is a minor detail and good for saving water!

Liked: Eco friendly, well maintained site with dog field, access to the canal and a walk to crickhowell along the river. Toilets were excellent as are the shower rooms. Washing up facilities were covered and well provided for. Flowers in pots everywhere. Would definitely stay there again. Price was good for the quality of the site.
Disliked: The nearest pub is closed Monday to Wednesday and we were there Monday🤦♀️

Liked: Lovely site, small and on the edge of woodland. Very peaceful, with great access to cycling and walking routes. Between the canal and the river. Will return, but can see it gets booked up quickly.
Disliked: Nothing. Except now I have posted this review, others will find this hidden gem! :0)

Liked: Very well kept side, immaculate toilet + washing up block. Polite welcome on arrival. Totally flat pitch meaning we didn't even have to chock up and great ground drainage so no risk of the tyres sinking. Loved the quiet curfew from 10pm, we had really good nights' sleep over the May bank hol that we were there. The Glanusk estate is very pleasant to walk through and we thoroughly enjoyed doing a round trip walk to pretty Crickhowell - we walked in via the canal and back via the river on one day and it was beautiful. Lovely views along the river walk. There is also a 20mins walk along the river to the Cider Mill pub which is very pleasant.
Disliked: We found the pitch too small (we weren't told we were on a small pitch until just a few days before despite requesting a larger one at booking - we were given the option to camp in the overflow field but that was the field where folks can let dogs off the lead and we didn't want to be there). So, the site felt a little cramped to us. Whilst the surrounding landscape is really attractive with small mountain ranges on both sides, the actual campsite is in a valley flanked on both sides by woodland so you don't see the beauty from the site. For us, the walk to Crickhowell was a little too long - some 50mins or so - and being in a larger motorhome we felt slightly too isolated. These are all just personal preferences though.
