What customers say
This peaceful site earns praise for its spotless facilities, spacious pitches, and lovely scenery. Guests love the great walking routes right from the site, along the river and canal, and enjoy the quiet vibe. A sauna is a popular perk. While most reviews are glowing, one guest noted noise from a nearby education group. The manager has since addressed this to prevent future issues.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Great loacation and lovely walks. The site was pretty much full but never had to queue for the toilet/shower/washing up facilities.
Disliked Non Electric pitches are right in the middle with no privacy. The electric pitches down the sides all have a hedge behind. Felt like I was in a bit of a fish bowl right in the middle. There were also 2 small very yappy dogs that conveniently went for a walk when the owner/manager did a drive around. They were a bit of a pain but this isnt something that could've been helped by the owner. I had kids with me so we used the larger disabled shower. The shower older needed tightening up and the grout of the floor needed a good clean but all other facilities were clean
