What customers say
This quiet, adults-only campground offers stunning valley views & roomy sites. Owners are often praised for being friendly & helpful. Facilities are generally clean & sufficient, though some find them basic. Access roads are narrow, and shower fees were a downside for some. Great location for exploring.

Liked The campsite was nice and quiet. Toilets where kept in good condition and the little shop on site was handy. Would recommend! The owners were also lovely and helpful.
Disliked The automatic light in the toilets would go off quite often putting the room into darkness. So I would have to wave my hand to activate the sensors.

Liked Lovely location great for walks andre was friendly and helpful choose any pitch that wasn’t already booked..20min walk to the druid inn which doesn’t look much but the food was superb and a lovely friendly atmosphere. If you plan on going make sure you read andre’s txt about directions.!!!!!!
Disliked Toilets could do with an upgrade but we’re clean and looked after

From the manager: Hi thanks for the positive feedback. Glad you liked the site. Yes toilets are due a revamp over the winter when we are closed. It’s been busier than expected this year and the showers and loos have been well used and abused! Lol. We have guests on site all the time and difficult to close the loos during the busiest time. Roll on November when we close and can do work all round the site. The hot weather hasn’t been helpful either as everyone wants showers twice a day. It’s in hand. Welcome back any time. Kind regards. Andre
Lovely space , lovely site
Top Field primitive grass and earth tent or RV campsite
Liked Loved the space - we stayed in the non hook up pitch 5….
Calm, peaceful and no small people running around
Disliked Not a dislike as such, and I don’t know if you’ve tried this but the eggs on sale with a trust box might be a nice idea as we arrived latish on the Sunday wanted to pick something up for the morning but had to miss as was leaving early the next day, just a thought
Not dog friendly, so probably would not stay again

Ideal quiet location for adults who want to unwind and explore
Top Field powered grass and earth tent or RV campsite
Liked Very quiet location, Andre was very helpful and personable; adult only which was ideal, facilities were clean and available; washing up station on site. Would recommend a trip to ynslas beach and borth beach for sunsets - also close to Aberystwyth. Didn’t get to do the devils bridge this time but will be back. Mach loop isn’t too far either so location wise is a great place with lots of things close by. Will be doing the new quay harbor dolphin boat tours next time too!!
Disliked Possibly update the toilet and shower facilities, or just freshen up a bit - only two toilets and one shower in each side which was fine for us but would be worth knowing in very busy times or at peak times for showering etc

Lovely site in a valley
Top Field primitive grass and earth tent or RV campsite
Liked Lovely small site with basic facilities in a valley. Showers and toilets were good and the freezer for our ice packs was a great addition. We saw the eclipse and shooting stars on the same night. Owner came round in the evening and was friendly but judged it well and stayed for a short chat only, giving us local information as was required.

Liked This was an excellent spot and the owners are lovely. As a quiet campsite, we could really relax!
There's access to buy essentials there if needed, toilets and showers are clean and a good pub quiz up the hill!

Lovely peaceful location and adults only.…
Top Field powered grass and earth tent or RV campsite
Liked Lovely peaceful location and adults only. Perfect for a quiet relaxing time watching the red kites soaring above you. Seemed to be a place people used for one or two night stop overs.
A small, basic site with a beautiful view down the valley. Peace was what I was after and that’s what I found here.
Disliked Won’t say I disliked this as the site was okay. Not what I expected when I first arrived as it just looked like an overgrown field with a shepherds hut and a shed. However once on the site and found the pitches it was fine. Shower/toilet facility could do with a little updating, but all was functional and in working order. Nothing was replenished (toilet paper and hand towels) although a quick call to Andre (owner) would have very quickly remedied that.
