Campsie Glen Holiday Park

Liked The hut was great for what we needed. Just about fits 4 (2 adults and 2 children) with a bit of space to move around.
The bench outside was really helpful for eating our meals as limited space to open the indoor table up when all beds are out. The two children’s beds are easy to put back together in the day though if need be.
Our children loved being right next to the park and the little pool was nice for a swim. The hot tub was out of use during our stay. The bar was a nice addition on an evening to sit and have a drink/ play a game of pool. We didn’t take part in the bingo but a nice option.
Reception were helpful and has essentials to buy, as the site is a way from shops.
I found the washers and dryers helpful as we have been away for 10 days and needed to wash some bits.
Quieter during the week but got busy Friday night with locals coming across for the weekend

Disliked The bathrooms being private (toilet and shower in individual rooms) were a bonus, however they weren’t particularly clean and some of the showers were broken. The showers leaked a lot so made the bathroom floors very wet. Could do with mops in each room for people to clean up once they finish, as many sites do.

Liked Everything was great. Clean, comfortable, and the caravan was equipped with everything you need. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Disliked Arrivée le samedi, le bar à proximité était très bruyant et dans l'ensemble, une impression d'être les uns sur les autres.
Les toilettes pour hommes mériteraient d'être plus souvent nettoyés

Liked Pleasant staff on arrival and explanation of facilities and locations

Disliked Wasps, Whole campsite inundated with infestation of Wasps including the clubhouse making it a nightmare to sit and eat outside. Definately need to get a pest controller out to minimise disturbance or clear wasp nests.

Disliked Schlechte hygienische Situation. Das Restaurant war wirklich mangelhaft und dafür viel zu teuer.

Liked Rural position, quiet mostly, green space for children to play

Liked The location of our pitch was great, the reception staff were really helpful and the play area was great for younger ones.

Disliked The facilities are really tired. A few toilets out of order (ladies block and pool toilet) and the unisex toilet/shower cubicles tended to be flooded and some had broken toilet seats. Luckily we were only there for 1 night so I could avoid showering there.

The bistro welcome wasn't the friendliest, I think we were greeted with 'so are you wanting a drink or not', food was ok. But mainly there was an underlying atmosphere that we felt which made us relieved it was a short stay.
