Good site. Good facilities. Too many pitches if all booked up.
Powered grass RV campsite
Liked Size of park and general settings
When we visited it was quiet with plenty of choice of pitches.
Disliked Looking at the 76 pitches, if they are all taken in the busy season the site would be a complete nightmare.
The pitches are VERY tight and close together so much so there’s no space for caravan, awning and car. !!

Liked Absolutely everything.
Staff were present, friendly and welcoming. Clearly take pride in the site.
Facilities were clean and well maintained.
Location is walking distance into the wonderful town of Peebles.
Pitches were well spaced out and site was quiet.
Really nice space to walk around in with the dogs.
Disliked Pitches were a bit challenging to get level on. Make sure you have levelling blocks with you!
A lot of EHU were out of order. Only a tiny shame as some of them were in prime spots that we would have loved to pitch up in!

Should have stayed longer

Liked A large spacious site with loads of pitches, plenty of power points all reasonably level and some with a slabbed patio. There are plenty of facilities units dotted about the site, well kept and manicured grasses. Wild life running about. Pick your own pitch when you turn up, if you are there multiple days you can move to another if the first doesn't suit, as long as there is space of course. The shower blocks and toilets are old but clean and warm. Hot water runs all hours. The site is a 15 mins walk to town.
Disliked Some may say it's a little run down, it could do with a revamp and some imagination, such a stunning large site, there are a fair list of rules given to you when you arrive,
Shower blocks did feel a little 'One flew over the cuckoo's nest' but that's being picky.

A great 2 nights stay, it was quiet when we stayed which was nice.

Liked Lovely large site with mature trees and shrubs.
Great area for walking dogs.
Able to walk into Peebles easily with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants.
Very quiet and peaceful site.
Disliked Toilet blocks require upgrading although at the moment still serve their purpose.
Pitches seem quite narrow and close together, some work and this could be easily rectified.
A bit of investment to the site would only improve this beautiful location and become a go to place to stay.

Poor facilities, would not recommend this site.
