Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked We often come here and it never disappoints.
Big pitches, good amount of space between them so you never feel like you are too close to your neighbours.
Fire pits, fully stocked camp shop.
Everything you could want.
Being right next to the river is great for a dip and is a lovely bit of white noise and also does a good job of drowning out any noise that might be coming from elsewhere.
Owners are lovely and getting a lift across the river to your pitch is always fun!

Felt like wild camping, but with benefits! (Compost toilet)
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Small camp with very large pitches next to river. Lovely and peaceful, even though the camp was full both nights. Owners were welcoming and very efficient. Loved our stay and will return.

Beautiful almost wild campsite
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Beautiful almost wild site. Only 4 pitches each with its own well presented fire pit. All pitches huge and well maintained. Every pitch next to the river. Beautiful walks from your tent door.
Immaculately clean composting toilet that the owners clean at least 3-4 times a day.
An honesty shop where you can get essentials you may have forgotten such as tick cards, water, firewood, kindling, smidge etc. We will be back
Disliked We loved it all. I honestly cannot think of any improvements.

Liked Beautiful location , easy to reach but feels remote. Hosts were very accommodating and on had to drive us over the ford. As there’s very limited pitches it’s very quiet with lots of space to yourself.
