What customers say
Beautiful, quiet, eco-friendly spot with a "nearly wild" vibe. Guests love the rural setting, peace, and friendly owners. Small pitches ensure tranquility; communal campfire available. Basic facilities. Note the short walk from parking (wheelbarrows provided). Some wish for better drinking water/shower access.

Lovely site, good pitches, and friendly owner.
Pondwood primitive forest floor tent campsite (four person)
Liked We liked that the campsite was small, with only 5 sites, with plenty of space inbetween, and surrounded by trees. There was a nice communal fireplace, and the site was isolated enough to feel like wild camping. There was a composting toilet, with a sink at the side to wash hands and dishes.
Disliked Be prepared to hike gear into the site from the car park, although wheel barrows are provided. Also, be aware that there is a railway line nearby, so you will hear trains. Not really dislikes, but worth a mention.

From the manager: Thanks for the lovely comments. We deliberately try to keep the nearly wild feeling by asking people to park away from the site, but also, as a working farm it can be quite busy at certain times.
