Local attractions

There are plenty of walks straight from the door of your shepherd hut,but Skye is also a paradise for mountaineers, with local guides available to book if you want to negotiate a Munro. Skye is ideal for those interested in outdoor sports like mountain biking, kayaking, wild swimming, boat trips and walking. There are distilleries to visit, and many local crafts and artists have studios around the island which are open to the public to watch them at work. No matter what you choose to do during your visit, you will be surrounded by nature, amazing geology and scenery, and wildlife in abundance.
