A lovely little site next to the loch with local amenities close by.

Liked We really liked the size of the pitches and loch views. There were benches you could sit on at the side of the loch too. The toilets were clean and the site staff were friendly. You can choose your own pitch when you get there so we chose closer to the toilet block where the WiFi signal was the strongest. It was really easy to find with all main roads leading up to it.
Disliked Only 2 toilets and showers, so while they were good and clean, if the site was full you’d probably struggle to access the facilities when you wanted. We were lucky and the site wasn’t full when we stayed so I only had to queue for the showers one time.

Not a bad site but needs a lot of TLC
Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Great location and around a mile and a half walk into Stranraer. Roomy pitches well spaced out.
Disliked Bit of a no frills basics site, everything is there but needs work. It is looking very tired and no attention to detail across the whole site. With an injection of money and enthusiasm and care this could potentially be a brilliant site
