- At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.
- The site has a private water supply – it's recommend that you boil the water before consumption. Opening hours of the site facilities may be reduced during low season (from September to March). The Headland Bar and Café is open on Friday, Saturday and Sundays only throughout winter. Following significant storm damage, the bar, café and spa facilities are all closed until 7th March 2025.

Liked Very clean facilities 5* and well maintained grounds, lovely views and walks ,staff very helpful and polite would highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful break
Disliked Was disappointed we couldn’t use the pool due to something being broken and same with jacuzzi these was the only facilities we was going to use due to time of the year we went

Liked The facilities here are good, shop, restaurant/cafe, swimming pool, sauna, the scenery is great and plenty of places to walk and visit, staff are friendly and helpful 👌 great place to visit
Disliked It used to be a army facility many years ago which you can see in some of the buildings that are still there, the pitches are a bit uneven and could do with being a little more level, Toilet and shower facilities could be doing with an upgrade.

Spectacular and well equipped, with plenty of room and clean.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Location is spectacular. The site is relaxed and quiet. The touring sites vary and although there appears to be only one toilet block to cover a large area, there was enough space. The clubhouse is well equipped, pub, cafe shop and large function room.
The scenery is stunning, with views of the isle of man and the lake District.
There's a pool and other facilities.
Disliked The showers are push button and not brilliant, but it didn't detract too much.

Liked Great site, stunning views with lots to do for adults and kids. will definitely be back. The staff were amazing we had a very tricky start to our camping trip which we couldn't have overcome without their help!

Liked We liked the views , park and pool . Staff were friendly. Pub had entertainment on
Disliked WiFi was disappointing. When we wanted to chill back at Motorhome child wanted to watch his program on Netflix but he couldn’t as you couldn’t get phone service and there free WiFi wasn’t up to scratch to be able to connect . Electric hook up the electricity kept tripping and pitches weren’t level ground as it was grass so it was a bit bumpy with all the vehicles going over it . Shop could do with stocking some basics like eggs ,sausages etc not everyone comes with food and not a great deal on offer in cafe
