What customers say
This no-frills, centrally located site is steps from Eyemouth's beach, shops, and harbor. Reviewers rave about its convenience for local attractions, coastal path access, and wildlife viewing (seals!). Electric hookups, water, and waste disposal are provided. Pitches are secure and level, though some find them compact. Beware of occasional pub garden noise and squawking gulls; some guests felt it was a bit pricey for its basic amenities.

Liked Close to sea front and a pub, has chemical waste and hook-up
Disliked Just a carpark, thought £20 was a bit expensive, could do with better signage, was a bit hard to find

I would definitely stay again. Eyemouth is lovely, great fish & Chips!
FHU gravel RV campsite
Liked Location, accessibility, facilities. I went for a swim in the pool next door for the sake of a shower, though the only full showers are in the dry changing area - a 'good to know' for next time.
Disliked There are public toilets in the main town carpark, but these are pretty grim! Not the fault of the Aire, but the Scottish Borders Council should really at least clean them once in a while...

FHU gravel RV campsite
Liked Basic but adequate for a 1 night stay. We found it to be very quiet, although the pub next door had closed down so it might be different if it was to reopen. Great location as near all amenities.

FHU gravel RV campsite
Liked Great for nights stop, got to see seals and get some fishing in. Didn’t catch anything though.

Overall, we liked the site, because of its location.
FHU gravel RV campsite
Liked The aire is located just a short walk to the beach. It’s fairly basic, but does have grey waste and chemical waste facilities. We really enjoyed the Coastal Path Walk, and feeding the seals in the harbour. Several great pubs too.
Disliked No toilets, and although near to the aire, they are absolutely disgusting.
Drinking water hose is short and lies on the ground.
No WiFi
