What customers say
Peaceful countryside spot with level, scenic pitches and resident alpacas. Hosts Craig and Kerry are exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering alpaca interactions and local tips. Basic amenities (water, bins, fire pits, tables) provided. Great for dogs and kids. Many guests want to return for the tranquility and starry skies.

Primitive cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked The views, the animals and the people here are exactly what you want for a great trip. This wee campsite is like wild camping with bells on. I say that because the campsite is an enclosed field surrounded by nature and beauty. They don’t have water/electric facilities but Craig and Kerry are so welcoming and kind that we didn’t even care! We were lucky enough to meet the alpacas in the morning. They were lovely but what struck me more was the care they had been given by Craig and Kerry. It’s glaringly obvious they care so deeply for all the animals around them. We would love to stay here again, if not for the beauty and character then for the peaceful night sleep.
I highly recommend if that isn’t already obvious

Primitive cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Peaceful, great for the dogs and wonderful views. I've stayed a few times now and it never disappoints. Good sized pitches with a picnic table at each and use of a fire pit. Love seeing the herons at dusk and this time there were baby alpacas in the herd. Perfect place to relax and recharge.

Primitive cement/asphalt and grass tent campsite
Liked Lovely peaceful location with alpacas in the next door field. Friendly and helpful owners. Interesting to learn about the alpacas and their wool from owner Kerry who creates beautiful textiles and warm hats, scarves and accessories from their herd. Incredible night skies when the clouds cleared and it was nice to be able to use an onsite fire pit to keep warm while stargazing.

Primitive cement/asphalt and grass tent campsite
Liked Great stay again at The Wee Caravan park, ideal location to get away from it all with countryside views and fire pit available. Children, 10,8 and 1 loved the Alpacas. Drinking water available and facilities as described. Good phone signal for hotspot. As their is no limit on pitch size, perfect for my first use of the inflatable, wood burning stove Holawild Machu Pichu tent.

If you like peace and no noise it's the best
Primitive cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Open pitch with open field that has tables and places for bbq and fire pits .. if you like a place that has amazing views and alpacas in the next field that are the most amazing animals. No noise from the alpacas as they are an amazing and have a bed time and watching them all run up the fields is something to watch.. Craig and keirie (sorry for spelling) are the most beautiful people you will ever meet. Can't wait for another visit.. and maybe a drambuie Craig haha

Quel accueil! Un vrai bonheur.
Primitive cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Phantastic location for basic holidays
Primitive cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked The owners Graig and Kerrie are phantastic and friendly people. In many years of camping in Europe we have never met such kind owners. At receipt, they invited us to meet the herd of alpaca’s. Although we did not know eachother, we communicated like friends. The camping is small, clean, quiet and located on a hill with beautiful view over the countyside. We look forward to visit the camping in the future and meet our new Scottish friends again.
