What customers say
A rustic, wild camping spot in lovely woods. Private, spacious sites. Basic but clean facilities (compost toilets, cold showers). Campfires okay. Praised for nature, wildlife, and friendly manager. Some note road noise, slopes, and bugs, but many found it great value and plan to return.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked It was such a great time. All the spots are secluded and private, with lots of shaded spots too which was nice in the heat. The guy who runs the sight was also very helpful. We’ll definitely book again for our next trip. Thank you.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Third time for me at the site. If I fancy a couple of days without people and in nature, this is now my go to place 😉
You will need a car if you aren't super experienced wild camper but otherwise it's a perfect balance of being close to a city with all you want and in the middle of nowhere.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Beautiful pitches with lots of space, wildlife, and close to lovely places like Pensford and Chew Magna if you want a trip out! We went to experience the dawn chorus and it did not disappoint. Perfect for the dog too as she had the freedom to roam around. If you want to go wild/semi wild camping then I couldn’t recommend more!!
Disliked The road down to the carpark is a bit rocky, not a problem but just keep in mind!
