Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Owner was lovely, she was helpful and friendly. Facilities were in good order. Nice and simple, really like a basic site. Can pitch where you want. Owners came around with fire pit and logs to buy for the evening.
Disliked Location, right next to a busy road, would have given it a much higher score if it was even a field away from the road
Great site with simple but clean facilities and friendly staff.

Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The owner was very friendly and helpful. Lovely views over the cow field. Campfires allowed, firepits were provided and we were allowed to move them where we wanted. We could pitch anywhere we liked, it was very relaxed.
Disliked Dishwashing area had no hot water, no sink or cover, all dirty dishwashing water had to go straight into the ground and I had to balance everything in the washing up bowl due to lack of surface to put things on next to the tap. Luckily it didn't rain!
The campsite is right next to a relatively busy road so our hike started along this road before we reached a footpath. Cars could be heard late into the evening, though not super loud.
From the manager: Thank you for your review. This is a pop up camp site and we provide a table next to the tap with a bowl, washing up liquid and dish cloths, there is a waste disposal container for the dirty water.

Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Plenty of space to pitch up so no-one was right next to us. Great facilities and a beautiful view. It was lovely to just be off grid for a night in the peace and quiet. The lady who came round to collect the money was friendly and accommodating.
Disliked Can honestly say there was nothing to dislike.
Excellent camping emplacements plats spacieux.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Good location close to Bristol and Bath. Lovely views and close to animals (very friendly sheep on site). Toilets were great and the shower was excellent.
Disliked Water tap pressure was great, bit too good as it produced a jet when operated with the foot pedal, got a bit wet.
