What customers say
This adult-only spot gets rave reviews for its peaceful vibe, cleanliness, and prime location for exploring Cheddar Gorge & Wells. Guests loved the spotless restrooms and showers, plus the super friendly staff, especially Tom. Though the nearby pub is closed, there are good alternatives. A few minor notes on shower costs & rules, but it's a top pick for a relaxing getaway.

Size of pitch was good and it was very small and quiet.…
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Size of pitch was good and it was very small and quiet. Location for cheddar was good and a pub at the entrance was vert handy.
Disliked Having to find 20p coins for the shower, the water flow was very pour. Nobody on site except for check in. Gate locked with padlock code. Was a bit scruffy, and old concrete base and a pile of old pallets decorated one side of the site.

Rude site manager, poorly managed.
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Adults only, good location, handy having a gasto pub next door.
Disliked Rude site manager. Late one night his dog ran up to me and kept barking threateningly. I asked him three times to call his dog away but he refused; I think he found it funny and gave him power to see me scared. He eventually walked away swearing. I will never go there again.
The grass looked like it hadn't been mowed for weeks. Also, close to the road, you can hear the traffic.
Finally, you have to pay for showers with 20p coins.
Not a great experience.
