Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Peaceful, quiet field on a farm. This campsite was a great base for us while we spent a weekend exploring the local area with a day trip to beautiful Shaftesbury on Saturday. We had a lovely fire both nights. Walked to the Green Man pub on our first evening, and cooked on the fire our second second evening. Clear starry nights. Compost toilets and fridge both good to have and clean. Field was fairly dry despite all the rain leading up to our trip. Affordable site that we would definitely visit again. Nicki was very responsive and helpful.

Liked: We had such a lovely weekend at this site. The weather wasn’t great but that didn’t matter as the surroundings made up for it. The facilities were excellent and although we never got to meet the owners, it was evident that this site means a lot to them and is well taken care of. You are in a very quiet location with not much around but this is just how we wanted it. We will definitely return!
Disliked: Nothing to complain about!

From the manager: Thank you so much for your review and you are right the site does mean a lot to us!. We are a small organic farm and we are a pop up site. We feel very lucky to live here and are pleased to share it. Glad you enjoyed your stay despite the weather! Sorry my husband didn't meet up with you as he does try to speck to all our campers. I do too but am just recovering from an op for a new knee.
We look forward to welcoming you back and we will make sure we meet you next time!
