What customers say
Spectacular ocean views & coastal path access. Friendly owners praised. "Back to basics" with portaloos; cleanliness/smells are a frequent issue. No showers. Good value.

Liked Good site. Quiet. The bar and bakery was a nice surprise although not sure they’re there all the time. Also a vending machine. Good prices all around.
Disliked Nothing. Expected less for the money paid to be honest.

Primitive grass and earth RV campsite
Liked Absolutely loved this place.
Easy access to a lighthouse, bird reserve, TWO pubs, costal walk, town and local bus routes. The couple running it are on site, so they're always to hand.. and their doggo loves fusses!
We had to pump up our rear suspension so the tow bar didnt catch on the exit ramp - just worth a note for longer rigs.
To top it all off.... spectacular scenery. What more could you ask for?
Disliked Loos didn't have any flushing fluid so were very smelly (yes, it's summer), but no big deal.. we just used the loo in our motorhome.

Little gem
Primitive grass and earth RV campsite
Liked Lovely friendly welcome with amazing views with first come first served pitches. The sunrise was breath taking and such a beautiful big moon and a sky full of stars was stunning. We will definitely be returning.
Disliked Yes portaloo can be a little smelly, don’t think I’ve ever been in one that isn’t but do the job they need to do. Although walked in to a couple that looked like someone had literally peed all over the seats later in the evenings which having to clean up wasn’t pleasant especially when a couple do actually have facilities for males with no aim or finding the distance to the bowl difficult…. If everyone just leaved it how you’d like to find it or would like your loved one to find it you’d make everyone stay a little more nice :)
