What customers say
Highly recommended campsite, lauded for spotless facilities, spacious pitches, and helpful staff. Guests enjoyed the peaceful vibe, duck pond, and great play area. Convenient location. Minor issues: occasional wasps, limited shop hours, unisex restrooms, and inconsistent hot water/shower pressure at peak times.

Meadow primitive grass campsite
Liked Such a lovely site! The facilities were clean, the park was great and the duck pond was very pretty! The onsite had lots, including ice creams which pleased the kids! Just down one end of the site was a river walk.

Meadow primitive grass campsite
Liked Beautiful campsite that has everything you need. We stayed on a grass pitch with the campervan. The pitches without electricity aren’t marked, so tents were nicely spread out. We loved that campers set up along the edges of the field, which meant everyone could enjoy the large open space in the middle for ball, racket or running around games without disturbing others - it felt like we had a huge garden for the weekend! 😀
The nearby stream, children’s play area, pond with ducks and chickens, and football pitch were all added bonuses. We would definitely stay here again!

Family friendly, quiet and spacious, clean and tidy. New favourite.
Meadow primitive grass campsite
Liked Very clean, neat and spacious pitches. Lots of lush, green grass which was neatly cut.
Toilets and showers were accessible in the field we were staying in.
There was a park and a little pond with lots of running space just off our field which the children loved
It was quiet and the facilities were all clean.
Easy drive to lots of different amazing locations, lots of which are advertised in the camp facilities.
Staff were always available to phone call and ask questions, very friendly and helpful.
I've given a 10 for WiFi because I never even thought about it, my phone had enough signal and we weren't really on our phones.
Disliked There were quite a few stinging nettles in the areas in between pitches.
The park doesn't have any adult seating at the park itself, there is seating behind a bush next to the park.
The reception and shop were only open for a couple of hours a day. It would be nice for the shop to be open for longer, especially to sell ice cream on a hot day.
