What customers say
This peaceful, small campground offers spacious sites and beautiful views. Guests praised the clean, well-appointed facilities, including smart restrooms and warm showers. Friendly hosts and optional farm produce/logs added to a relaxing, recharging stay. A rough farm track and limited walkability to pubs were minor notes.

Liked Everything. The facilities, space, quietness and the view.
We stayed in a bell tent with our 6yo son. As The site isn't massive and not many people around he could go to the bathroom/sink etc by himself without us worrying. There was a campfire pitch included so we did have a bbq and fire in the evening while we were star gazing. We felt very relaxed and recharged.

Lovely, small calm peaceful farm campsite retreat
Cabin (adults only)
Liked We loved how friendly the hosts were and attentive to needs e.g. replacing the down pillow with synthetic when asked
Short distance to the toilet and showers from the cabin
Car parking space opposite cabin.
The peacefulness
The farm produce included for breakfast was very tasty but definitely get the bacon as well as it is superb and between that, bread, butter, marmalade and eggs that covered us for two mornings.
The views from walking around the site a very lovely and seeing the animals
Farm supplies of food, firewood, charcoal to buy if needed
Clean, spacious toilet block with warm solar heated showers
Not too early checkout time
Disliked the farm track up to the site a bit rough but most cars can manage fine unless you have very low suspension.
Smallish inside the cabin if you want to relax if cold and wet outside but could have folded up the bed into sofa to make more space
Not particularly walkable to any nearby pubs but a few within 10 mins drive

Peace and quiet : spacious, basic. Nice!
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Peace and quiet, space, and the whole concept really: simple facilities were fine and everything seemed to work nicely. Farm eggs v tasty. Thanks for a lovely stay. Pub a longish walk but v nice. “Proper” longish track to site challenging for my limited slow speed motorcycle skills but no dramas.

Beautiful site, great facilities, breathtaking scenery.
Bell tent
Liked This is a beautiful site. The scenery is amazing and the small number of tents and pitches create a peaceful, private enclave, with the feeling of really being away from it all. Everything about this site is relaxed and calm and Tom who owns the site is lovely and friendly. The showers and toilets are great, clean and fully functional as are the washing up facilities however they are tucked away in a neighbouring orchard so as not to impact on the overall ambience of the site. Fire pits and barbecue grates are provided, as are logs and coal for the fire. You can also order fresh bread, bacon, butter and eggs which are delivered to your tent in the morning. Overall I can’t rate this site highly enough, if you are looking for a glamping experience which is quiet, peaceful and tranquil then this is your place.
