An apple farm pretending to be a campsite.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Pitches
Disliked Owners and facilities.
Two toilets shared between campsite and bar.
Shop that just sells tourist tat.
Mixed messages from staff leading to aggressive encounters. Some say drive to your pitch, others shout about the trees. When we politely said they should have a consistent message, the owner was very patronising and had an argument with his son on the rules in front of us.

Great Location nice and peaceful.…
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Great Location nice and peaceful.
Disliked No Dogs aloud on Campsite. But the owners dog were left wondering around and stole food from our tent right in front of us aswell as other people's. Facilities where dirty the toilet in the shower wasn't even attached to the floor! Not enough toilets or showers on the campsite. Staff weren't overly friendly.

From the manager: To be frank - we were over extended this weekend. There was a hiccup with the booking synchronisation and we ended up being overbooked. At the same time we have a staff member who is very ill and other staff were away manning an event bar.
I am sorry you came on this weekend and found the facilities lacking. We are usually a well managed camp site known for it's amazing customer service and clean facilities and we have a huge following of returning customers. I hope you will visit us again.

Campsite in an orchard that sells its own cider
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Brilliant campsite with tent pitches in the middle of an orchard. The rows of trees made it feel more private between pitches especially as you can set up anywhere along the length of your section.
Fire pits were provided and, being on an orchard, they sold their own large range of ciders. Saturday night there was live music and brilliant food. Facilities were good and they are in the process of upgrading to add more showers

Beautiful, tranquil campsite with mostly excellent facilities.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful surroundings: camping in an orchard surrounded by rolling countryside. Very peaceful and quiet. It was amazing to get an entire row to yourself. Toilets were very clean and modern. Wel supplied with water. Great range of ciders!
Disliked The showers were warm but could be cleaner. Felt a bit exposed by the missing glass in the door of one shower. No hot water in washing up taps but managed to wash up.

What a wonderful last minute camping weekend, Oliver and Penny the owners…
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked What a wonderful last minute camping weekend, Oliver and Penny the owners were simply wonderful.
From relaxing live music and fab homemade Burgers on the Saturday as well as sampling their delicious ciders. What a peaceful and beautiful campsite amongst the apple orchards. Campfires, Braais, moonlit skies and hooting owls
Don't miss out when their bookings open for next summer as they will be making further upgrades to their already fabulous facilities this winter.
Go Support them or just pop in and book a tour around the farm, cider brewery and bottling facility.
Great farm shop with excellent local honey, sauces and chutneys.....not to mention the fabulous cider again.
All the best Oliver with your harvest and bottling over the winter.
