What customers say
Highly recommended, well-kept campsite with spacious spots & great amenities. Praised for its excellent kids' play area & woodland walks. Staff are friendly. Most found it clean/peaceful, but some noted noise, spotty Wi-Fi, & weak shower pressure. Minor play equipment issues noted.

Excellent site well equipped for a family stay, well located.
Powered grass campsite
Liked The site itself is located a few minutes outside the main village/town. We found it very central for exploring Dorset. Many different places/activities can be found within an hours drive in any direction! We would certainly stay here again if exploring this part of the country.
We had a lovely stay on Pitch 16 which is situated on the very left of the site near the children’s play area.
The pitch was large, flat and well located. We had a drinking water tap right next to the pitch and we were not far from the waste/recycling point and another drinking water tap. There is also a hedged cut through that leads through the small wooded area to the main entrance and facilities. It is well lit and had stone steps to ensure safety.
The facilities are kept clean and tidy, with multiple showers, sinks and toilets. They were never busy and the water was always hot.
There is a small but well stocked shop to buy the essentials including any camping gear you may have forgotten!
There was also a games room with pool tables, table tennis and table football (equipment available to hire from the shop for a small fee) the room also had wifi, however we didn’t use this. But there were always a few children there using the wifi for some screen time.
The staff were always very kind and polite. We look forward to staying again if we are in the area.
Disliked This is not a dislike, but more of a point of note. The shower/sink/toilet facilities are beginning to show their age a little and I imagine will require updating in the next few years. However, during our stay they were always very clean and well presented.

Liked Absolutely stunning as always
The showers and loo's were clean and tidy and the campsite was well cared for . I found the incredible mountain bike trail through the woods, and it has to be said the berms on down hill section were as good as any bike park.

Lovely stay. Parents to supervise their kids more.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lovely spacious park. Facilities clean and well maintained with plenty of hot water throughout the day no matter when you have a shower or wash up. Brilliant kids park and lovely walks in the woods.
Disliked Foul mouthed children from large group family/ies that did not supervised their children. Made my kids feel uncomfortable playing in the play park at times and we had to remind very young and teenage kids to watch their mouths. I did a litter pick also after late night antics from said unsupervised children the following morning.
