East Dodscott Farm is a family-friendly site in north Devon where you can soak up the quiet of the countryside and watch the workings of rural life. There are plenty of animals to see here, including friendly donkeys, horses, goats and calves, meaning that while well-behaved dogs are welcome, they'll need to be kept on a lead when out and about around site. As for food, the well-established on-site café at East Dodscott Farm serves up a range of light lunches, cakes, ice creams and cream teas. The site also has a small farm shop where you can pick up fresh meat, vegetables and other essentials. This practically-minded spot has well-maintained toilets and showers, plus cold mains water, waste disposal facilities and wheelbarrows for ferrying your kit between your car and your pitch. East Dodscott Farm is about a mile from the hamlet of St Giles in the Wood and a five-minute drive from the popular market town of Great Torrington. Its central location means that guests staying here have easy access to the coast (25 minutes), Exmoor National Park (30 minute) and Dartmoor (40 minutes).
