What customers say
New site with spacious pitches and stunning countryside views. Owners are praised for being friendly and helpful. Immaculate, modern facilities. Great for exploring the coast and Dartmoor. Some pitches are sloped and it can be windy. Minor past issues with shower duration/hot water have been resolved.

It's a gem of a site in a beautiful part of Devon.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Really pretty and very accessible site with big pitches and absolutely outstanding views. It's pretty near Totnes, which is a fantastic and very quirky town with plenty of nice eateries. We couldn't get enough of the gorgeous rolling hills and it was so lovely to sit and watch the sheep munching away and the birds. The owners are lovely and everything is really well organised. It's a very quiet site, despite being quite near a main road. There's no concern about long, windy lanes to reach the site. Loos and showers are immaculate - we were very impressed. We stayed in the lower field which was slightly further from the loos but which was less 'busy' (not that it was busy!) than the field nearer the loo blocks. We chose this site to test our new tent and both of us loved our night there.
Disliked We didn't dislike anything but all pitches are accessed along a single track with very large, very sturdy gravel pieces. This is great for vehicles (and quiet too) but is pretty hard on the feet and ankles when wearing summer footwear! If, like me, you have dodgy ankles you might want a pitch nearer the loos. And everyone needs to be extra mindful when exiting the site, especially if you are towing: you emerge onto a main road.

Liked Loved the quietness, the pitch sizes, the amazing clean, hot and fresh showers, toilets and washing up facilities. Fantastic we could use a large fridge freezer there too whilst ours cooled on the power facilities.
The site was just perfect, everything was thought of and all that worked the site were so friendly and helpful.

Liked I stayed for 3 nights. On arrival you see where your pitch is, the showers & toilet blocks are the best I have seen. Everything is very well organised, maintained and cleaned several times a day by the owner who makes you feel very welcome & helpful. The site is very quiet with sheep as your neighbours. Hopefully when you stay it will be a clear night and you will see a sky twinkling with so many stars. I will definitely be staying again. Thank you
