Relax and unwind. watching the sunset from this tree swing seat

  • Camping pods at a small Devon site just off the South West Coast Path
  • Adults-only site half an hour's drive from Plymouth
  • Sea views and stunning sunsets; kitchen and lounge area provided
Walking the South West Coast Path? You’ll be made very welcome at Worswell Barton Farm, a small camping pod site on a Devon farm just off the coast path near Noss Mayo. Not walking the coast path (or perhaps only a little bit)? You’re just as welcome to stay here, to enjoy the fresh sea air and the splendid sunsets that often grace these skies – the pods have all been set up to face west and have outdoor seating, so you’ll be in prime position. This is an adults-only site, so you won’t be able to bring the kids, but dogs are permitted. You’ll be staying in cosy wooden pods, each of which has comfy beds and tea/coffee-making facilities, and with bed linen and towels provided to help keep your packing list nice and short. Shared facilities include a shower and toilets, and a micro-shop stocked with basic food supplies to help guests cook evening meals and prep packed lunches for their walks. To do all that, head to the farm’s function room, which has a kitchen with a fridge, hob, microwave, toaster and air fryer. There’s also dining space here, along with table tennis for those who’ve still got some energy, and a sofa, books and board games for those that don’t. A walk along the coast path is a must while you’re here, of course – but you might like to save some energy for the walk to one of three pubs within a half-hour walk. Other outings might take you to Plymouth or Bigbury-on-Sea, although you could also stay local to try out the local beach, Cellar beach, which only appears at low tide.

Camping pod

Liked We had a great one night stay here whilst walking the SW path.
Phil was great, super friendly and helpful from the moment we met him.
The pod was comfy and clean, with great views and the extra blankets made it nice and warm for a March night !
The communal space is perfect for cooking your own food and we had breakfast in the morning which was yummy.
Thanks for a great stay 👍😊

Liked Lovely place, great facilities, very friendly owners and doggies. You have sheep and cows as neighbours. Great walking area or if you just need to de-stress for a couple of days as I did.

Camping pod

Liked Absolutely incredible. Incredible couple who are so welcoming and nice. The pods are great and a lovely countryside escape. The countryside around is incredible with the most beautiful views. They’ve got a kitchen and living area to use including a shop with everything you’d need for dinner breakfast or motivational snack during your walk along the path.

Disliked Nothing. All was great

Camping pod

Liked This really is a great place to stay with some excellent facilities. There is a converted barn with rec room, shower (with towels) and cooking facilities. As well as some camp stove friendly food for sale. So if you’re back packing this feels like luxury. The pods are well furnished, have electricity and tea and coffee making, with toilet and wash up close by. Phil had all the info you’d need regarding the local area and importantly times on crossing the Erme and Avon. It’s on a really picturesque farm and with the facilities I could see a multi day stay being a pleasure. I was disappointed only to be staying the one night.
