What customers say
This well-maintained campground offers stunning ocean views & direct beach access via steep steps. Guests rave about friendly staff, clean amenities & great food. Spacious sites, though some are sloped. Lots of kids' entertainment & a large dog-walking area. Some occasional road noise & long walks to facilities from higher spots noted.

I loved the on site food…
Primitive grass tent or campervan campsite (sea view, sloping)
Liked I loved the on site food van and options available every night as well as the bar. They had vegan and gf options including pizza. The staff were so friendly and could not help enough. I was so pleased with our pitch and the views from it. One of the pitches was an open plan pitch with no space restrictions and an amazing view of the sea.

Liked Wonderful campsite. Friendly staff, beautiful location, clean toilets and showers. Great time for our first family camping trip
Disliked A real shame the bridge/footpath to the nearby cove was down, but plenty of beautiful beaches nearby.

Allocated primitive grass tent or campervan campsite (sea view)
Liked Nice showers, hot water and good space to change. The whole campsite was very clean, staff working throughout the day the maintain to make sure camp was clean. Really like the food hut, different t meals each night, the Sunday dinner was great. This campsite is great for the whole family, we had a sea view pitch which was a good size pitch with toilets and water tap nearby. Very friendly staff. The dog area was very good, a large area which looked down onto the campsite. Great access to Coastal Path, walking to Combe Martin and Illfracombe.

Powered grass campsite
Liked Can't fault the site and the facilities. Customer service was amazing, so helpful when we wanted to change pitches and add additional nights. Site so clean, no queues for toilets/showers. Playground great for kids. Onsite food was amazing and staff really helpful. Most pitch sizes are very generous. Pub, harbour and watermouth Castle all in walking distance. Also close to great beaches.
Disliked Coming home :-(

Peaceful with plenty to do for kids
Primitive grass campsite
Liked It was tranquil and peaceful with plenty to do for kids. We liked that you had the option to buy an evening meal there if you don’t feel like cooking too, with a bar area and kids Kabin with pool and table tennis it meant the whole family had fun.

Primitive grass tent or campervan campsite (sea view, sloping)
Liked First time visiting this site and we will most definitely be booking again. It was a great location for near by attractions.
The site was clean with great amenities - really impressed with the showers. Staff were friendly and welcoming and we regularly saw them cleaning.
We had a sea view which was beautiful and the site was quiet. We could view Broadsands beach from a viewing area not far from where we were pitched, sadly due to landslides the beach couldn’t be accessed but it looked a gem. (This information was clearly communicated on their website and in emails prior to our visit)
Overall a fabulous site, can’t wait to return.
