The site has views of Dartmoor National Park as well as open farmland, and as it's on a small working farm, guests shouldn’t be too surprised to spot friendly sheep, chickens, horses and three resident donkeys with names like Teabag and Woolly around the fields.
Pitches are nicely tucked away in a summer hay field, where it should be easy to get into the pace of rural Devon life. The peaceful, level pitches have access to facilities including clean toilets, fresh water and waste disposal. There’s also plenty of space to spread out, families might be pleased to know.
Three miles away (a 10-minute drive or a decent stroll) from Northcote Manor Farm is the pretty village of Northlew. Get out onto footpaths and bridleways directly from the village, and then reward yourself with some food and ales in the cosy village pub.
Whenever you feel ready to look yonder, the market town of Okehampton is a 10-minute drive away. It has supermarkets, cafés, pubs and shops, as well as a farm shop (15 minutes’ drive) with a butchers, bakery and deli. Just outside of the town (20 minutes’ drive from base) is the start of the Granite Way walking and cycling path. Dartmoor National Park, famed for its tor hikes and wild ponies, begins 10 minutes’ drive away from the site.

- Guests are advised to bring a good quality flashlight with them as parts of the park are unlit.
- Please note that the toilet facilities are unisex.
