  • Friendly, family-run site with views over Dartmoor and the countryside
  • A 10-minute drive to Dartmoor National Park and 15 minutes to Exeter
  • 18-hole golf course, small petting farm and a bar/restaurant on site
A petting farm, an 18-hole golf course and barbecues on an outdoor terrace are some of the highlights at Fingle Glen, a friendly, family-run site in the Mid Devon countryside. A 10-minute drive from Dartmoor National Park and 15 minutes from Exeter, this place is nicely set up for a relaxing stay where you'll be able to alternate between lazy daytimes on site, busying around Exeter’s city centre or walking and cycling in the national park. With scenic views across Dartmoor and the golf course, you’ll have a fair few ways to spend the day on site, as the family-owned site has a games room (including snooker tables, darts, adult and kids’ arcade games, even for the tiny ones) and a petting farm fondly dubbed their ‘Little Farm’ with chickens, lambs, goats and Shetland ponies (animal feed available). The, the site's bar and restaurant is a cosy, laidback spot to while away an evening with a drink or two, catch up over a morning coffee or an informal lunch and dinner (food on Mondays through Saturdays from 12pm to 8pm) with a selection of burgers, pub classics and sharing boards. There’s an outdoor terrace kitchen set up for barbecues or stonebaked pizza fresh out of the pizza oven too. In Dartmoor National Park, some of the closest spots are Fingle Bridge and Clifford Bridge around 15 minutes’ drive away, each with great views and ample walking and cycling routes around.
