  • Family-friendly pop-up site on the Devon coast one mile from the beach
  • A 15-minute drive from Saunton Sands and Woolacombe beach
  • Hose for wetsuits and wellies; a short walk from pubs and farm shops
Going down to the Devon coast to brush up on your surfing skills or to wash away the everyday hustle with a little relaxation time near the sea? Whether you’re setting out solo, the whole family’s in tow or you’ve got a group of friends ready to go, Meadow Brook Camping is well-situated for some beach-inspired downtime in a meadow with the sounds of birds and the brook, half an hour’s walk from the nearest beach. Here, you’ll be based on the outskirts of Croyde (10 minutes’ walk), a coastal resort in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and 15 minutes’ drive away from Woolacombe beach and Saunton Sands. A peaceful pop-up, there's a hose to help you wash down your wetsuits, wellies, bikes or sandy toes – and the convenience of flushing toilets, hot showers and washing-up facilities. The pitches are pretty roomy, wild camping inspired, and there’s a free allocated parking spot in the car park per pitch – so, grab a cart to wheel your things to the pitch, then let the friendly staff help you map out the way for a bite to eat in Croyde (book ahead, as tables are snapped up quickly) or walking and cycling nearby. Putting a picnic together or planning to cook a few sausages on the barbecue? There are local shops selling essentials a short walk away, plus farm shops with fresh milk, eggs, fruit and veg. For more specific items, there are larger supermarkets in Braunton and Ilfracombe (under 20 minutes’ drive).
