Liked Location and pitch by the sheep. Covered area with picnic table was great. Charged out e-bike battery in the lodge. Very welcoming despite arriving very late. Relaxed about leaving times.

Disliked Water not hot in showers.

Liked We had an amazing experience with the friendly host at the beautiful area. They even allowed us to set up our tent early in the morning so we wouldn't disturb anyone when we returned in the evening. We can't wait to go back!

Disliked There was absolutely nothing not to like.

Liked The most beautiful views to wake up to! Camping nestled into the hillside, with a stunning view looking down on the Combe Martin below, to the sea on one side and a valley to the other. Caron was so kind and accommodating, we felt very welcome. Perfect location for exploring the area, so many pretty villages and the most gorgeous beaches.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much Caron. All the very best to you and your husband.

Liked Lovely little site with friendly owner. Toilets were clean and spacious, didn't use the showers as only there one night. Spectacular views!!

Disliked It was hilly to get to the pitch but worth it for the view!

Liked Loved the car parking vw theme, it’s nicely laid out from the 1/2 a VW beetle upwards you just park in line with a vw hub caps on the fence. The view is breathtaking 🤩 you really need to see it! Caron came to give us a warm welcome us on arrival, and was nothing but lovely throughout our stay, she really gave the impression of nothing is much trouble, and was great with my young kids. The toilets were always nice and clean. The location is great for the Wildlife a Dinosaur park, We had such a good time we actually stayed an extra night!!

Liked Beautiful place, wonderful owners, always smiled and helpful. Very close to the beaches, lots of attractions for children. We weren't bored even for 5 minutes. And this view from the tent in the morning,unforgettable. 6 min to the beach where you can watch beautiful sunsets. I recommend it, I will definitely come back next year. Thank you for your hospitality

Liked Beautiful views. Warm helpful welcome. Nice quality/well maintained toilet and shower facilities. Very peaceful and quiet location a short drive from Combe Martin. You can faintly hear the Gibbons and the nearby wildlife park in the morning: a unique wake up but not loud.

Disliked You can’t park near the tent so have a short but hilly walk to get your stuff to and from the car. You have to pay extra to use the shower

The short walk to the car park its not very far it is under 100 yards.
Paying extra for the shower is so that we can offer the best prices for our campsite, so instead of adding all the extras on top of the price as not everyone wants to shower. Or has a dog or requires electric, that way we feel we are very reasonably prices. 😊

Liked A small quiet campsite with a breathtaking view of Combe Martin, the hills and the sea. Just opened so we were honoured to be their first ever customers! The campsite is very cleverly equipped. Automatic lights allow walking to the facilities without the need of a head torch at night. The toilets, shower and washing block is well designed with plenty of hot water. The fire pit/BBQ area is just lovely, with a beautiful view and Pic nic benches. Caron and her husband are lovely and friendly people with plenty of suggestions for local walks! Would definitely use again and recommend without reservation!

Disliked Nothing really. Just important to keep in mind that the pitches are on the small side and placed at the side of a hill. The pitches are flat but the access is not, to be kept into account especially when loading/unloading equipment. It can get windy. We pitched in quite strong wind and had to use 3-4 pegs on the key points of the tent. Could have done with storm straps. Definitely not good for ball games 😁
