Primitive grass campsite
Liked Liked the freedom to pitch our tent in an open field with lots of space around us. Farmer and staff were very friendly and helpful.
Good shower and toilet facilities.
Quiet at night with only the sound of sheep and the ocean in the distance.
Short walk from the Rock Inn pub (best Mussels in the world) and the Kings Arms.
Close to Putsborough beach car park (less than 9min drive).
Disliked Beware of narrow roads and be patient & cooperate with other drivers so everyone can get to where they need to go.
Generally hardly any phone signal in area but that might be a good thing!
