From the manager: Dear Tina & Family,

Thank you for your feedback, and I’m sorry if you felt our customer service did not meet your expectations.

When you and your family arrived, we were happy to welcome you as we do with all our guests. We always make an effort to interact with our campers throughout their stay, but in your case, since you spent most of the time inside your caravan, we didn’t want to disturb your privacy.

Unfortunately, the rainy weather also made it more difficult to engage as much as we normally would. As you’ll see from many of our past reviews, we pride ourselves on being friendly and attentive with all our visitors, and we truly value the connections we make.

Kind Regards
The Crossways Country Park Team

Primitive grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Nice quiet sight, well placed to explore Devon.
The couple running the campsite are very helpful and friendly.
Dog friendly campsite, large, clean, toilet and shower block.
Utility room for laundry and washing up, also fridges and freezers available, all clean and well kept.
Beautiful countryside views and walks on the doorstep.
A beautiful vineyard literally a 5 min walk from the campsite where you can do a tour and wine tasting with a farm shop selling local produce on site.
There is also a bar restaurant ( the Vine) at the vineyard which does amazing food including breakfast.
A 15 min walk or 2 min drive away is the Jack Russell Pub with amazing, welcoming staff and fantastic, good quality food, would definitely recommend 👌.

Liked Well located with convenient bus. Perfect for a short stay if you arrange a visit to the vineyard opposite. Toilets and showers clean but dated. One local pub walkable on grass verge.

Disliked Washing up area not obvious as seemed to be a motorcycle part. Was empty apart from us. Other local pub is along a fast road with no space for pedestrians

Primitive grass tent campsite

Liked Always a warm welcome from Deon and Lesley. Extremely friendly and do the little extra things that matter.. like sorting a taxi contact for us to head down to the pub 😊

The site remains spotless and spacious with great facilities in a beautiful setting. Inclusive of rolling hills and a gorgeous walk(dog walk) in the pastures behind.
