What do mornings at this Cornish glamping site look like? Imagine waking up to the birds with the sun dappling through the trees and then taking an open-air hot shower – you'll soon get an idea of what Off-Grid Wildlife Woodlands is all about… This secluded woodland site is a five-minute drive from Looe on Cornwall's southern coast, where there are ample opportunities for bathing, rockpooling, watersports, snorkelling and ice cream. With its tales of smugglers, crabbing opportunities and family-friendly restaurants, it's highly likely to be a hit with the kids. That said, you might like to stick around on site, foraging for fungi, looking out for animal tracks, whittling sticks around the campfire or cooking over open flames. After days spent outdoors and evening under the stars it's time to retire to your well-equipped accommodation. Set among the trees, these well-equipped canvas units come with proper beds (or airbeds for additional guests), lighting, a firepit and camp cooking equipment. Off-Grid Wildlife Woodlands is located between the small villages of Sandplace and Duloe. Duloe's ancient standing stones, community-run shop and pub are all roughly a mile away from base, while Sandplace's railway station is similarly easy to access.
