Liked - Manager (Emma) was very kind and helpful. Also very accommodating. We were staying on the final day of the season and she was courteous enough to allow people to return later after their tents had dried. She was also very attentive in making sure we had what we needed.
- Exceptional site for views and peace and quiet.
- Close to anything we need.
- Nearby ice-cream!

Basic site, all facilities you could need, really great owners.
Inner Field primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Owners are very helpful and present. Toilets cleaned and toilet paper topped up every day.
We got a bit lost arriving when we were very near, but phoned and were given clear directions. Confirmation email might benefit from photos included with the directions.
Facilities include shower, toilets, washing up sink, separate drinking water tap, bins and separate bin for fire ash - everything you would need. Shower had a kind of bench you could pull a shower curtain across so that you can take your stuff in and keep it dry, haven't seen that before pretty useful.
Nice big field, everyone managed to be spaced out. One large family did set up kind of in the middle of the field though, unlike everyone else who stuck to the edges.
Lush grass and hedges, birds around.
Booked the inner field but would probably recommend valley view as popped my head around and the view looked a lot nicer.
Disliked Toilets and shower cubicles made you feel a tad exposed seeing as the walls were thin and toilet, shower and washing-up area were all on top of each other, so I don't think I ever used the toilet / shower without other people being around & talking. I can see why they're all together because of the water provision but still. Were also about 3 toilets & 4 showers for the whole field, so we found it useful to wake up earlier and avoid the wait.
Cubicles could also benefit from colour-coded locks that show when someone is in them, as someone trying the door when you're in there also makes you feel a bit exposed.
Shower got warm enough but really weak water pressure.

Disliked Had to be creative to wash up as no hot water at the washing up sink. Got round it though.

Valley View primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Second time camping here and is still lovely and welcoming. Go spot to be out the way but close to main roads to go exploring. You can hire camp fires and I did see someone with their own generator so that’s a bonus if you need electric as the campground doesn’t have any. Will definitely be returning next year. Thanks for a lovely stay Emma see you next year.
