What customers say
This peaceful, quiet site has spacious, well-kept pitches. Immaculate modern facilities, great washing-up/laundry areas. Convenient to Mevagissey, Heligan Gardens & coastal walks (hilly terrain). Friendly staff. Separate electricity charge noted as pricey. Minor issues: arrival mix-ups, narrow access.

Liked Ample spacing between pitches is what drew me to this site. The drinking water taps placed strategically throughout the site are also a thoughtful touch. Shower & washing up facilities well tended & clean.

Fantastic campsite, lovely views and very well maintained
Power optional grass campsite (XL)
Liked The location is brilliant - far away enough from busy roads but still close enough to drive to local area. Showers and toilets are clean and well made. Washing facilities and washing up area are great too. Every pitch appears to have electricity and drinking water is easily available

Liked Arrived to a friendly welcome
Spacious pitches, did not feel cramped at all.
Great location with walks from the campsite to Mevagissey, Lobbs Farm Shop and Lost Gardens of Heligan, though pretty woodland which is well signposted.
Also a circular dog walk through fields and back along lane again signposted.
So many places to visit along the coastline within easy reach.
Facilities were kept spotless and lovely hot showers.

Power optional gravel and cement/asphalt campsite
Liked Stayed on a hardstanding pitch which sadly was furthest away from the toilet and shower block. There was another gravel pitch right near but this was where the warden stayed.
Booked 2 nights a few weeks in advance but when we arrived our names were supposed to be on the board and pitch number but the warden had not been updated. Toilets and showers were clean.
I understand electric should be charged for as some I'm sure will use lots but we were in a campervan using very little and were charged £10 for the 2 nights which I know is excessive, perhaps metered electric would be easier mind you our pitch had a splitter on it feeding pitch 1 too so probably wouldn't work we stayed last month on metered in Anglesey for 4 nights and it cost 75p total so sadly feel its unfairly charged. Didn't even stay the 2nd night due to the weather coming in.....
Disliked Extra electric charge is too much, pitch furthest from Toilets should be for the warden not guests

A lovely, rural site with good facilities
Power optional gravel and cement/asphalt campsite
Liked A lovely little site, right in the middle of the countryside. We were met by the very friendly, helpful Anne, who was standing in for the owner while he took a much-needed holiday. The toilet/shower block was well-designed and spotlessly clean. The (hilly, muddy) walk to the Lost Gardens of Heligan was clearly signed and well worth doing.
Disliked Nothing, although I can imagine that more toilets and showers might be necessary when the site is full.

Great clean site will return

Liked Was a great site, clean easy going and will definitely be back. The WiFi works but is low and Vodaphone 4G was good enough for most uses.
